B.E.S.T. offers training in the following programs:

School of the Bible and the Advancement of Women

This program includes tracks in Old Testament, New Testament,
Systematic theology and Missiology with a specialization for those
Ministering in Muslim contexts
Masters program in Leadership and Christian Management
Doctoral program in Systematic Theology

Faculty

Faculty members in the various programs come from several different African countries and are enhanced by visiting professors from Europe and North America. The confessional associations of these professors include Baptists, Reformed, Pentecostal and other denominations. The majority of them have had extensive experience in the pastorate or in other church related ministries. The majority of the professors are at the same time qualified academically to teach at B.E.S.T. through their earned doctoral degrees. The remaining professors teach on the basis of other degrees and their ministerial experience.

Library

The Byang Kato memorial library catalog has been computerized. Its 20,000 volumes, of which two thirds are in French, cover all areas of theology and applied ministry. The Library subscribes to more than 60 periodicals and also houses a CD ROM collection that facilitates research. An internet connection also contributes to the resources available to students. This Library is one of the best equipped theological libraries in French-speaking Africa.
